Soppressione P. L.

Loc. “Cartecchio” (TE)

A longstanding problem for the Abruzzi city of Teramo, has been the removal of the railway crossing at Cartecchio. The work has consisted of a rotary for vehicles that can be accessed both from the south and the north, on two-way ramps.

Following the massive excavations , which have been built at about nine meters from the present level of trunk road 80, the former runway has been supported by two groups of pillars of max. 30 meters.

Two road beds and a rail track, in both pre-compressed reinforced concrete and concrete structures have been built.
