Stazione di Bruzzano

Milano

The project was very articulated because it planned to move the stop about 500 meters to the north, and build two 250 m platforms, with a height of 55 cm on the railroad, with shelters (for a length of 100 meters), lighting , electronic signs and a public address sound system.

Access to the two platforms was guaranteed by a walkway with stairs and elevators for the transport of bicycles.

The walkway also favors the connection between the city and the Parco Nord Milano and is fitted for the installation of turnstiles for access control. In addition, tactile paths for the visually impaired and the blind, and elevators suitable for transporting bicycles, as well as users with motor disabilities, were identified.

The intervention was completed with the installation of two tracks and the prearrangement for a third future track, and the upgrading of electric traction and signaling systems.
