The intervention funded by the Umbria Region has allowed to bring back to splendor a building of the 1930s, already designed as a theater and used by a local association, the Filarmonica of Corciano.
The structural intervention foresaw the recovery of the vertical supporting structures with reconstruction of the same with new masonry in stone and brickwork.
As far as the horizontal structures were concerned, both the interfloors and the flooring were reconstructed with iron and metal sheet structures, while further consolidation work was necessary on the underground level, such as on micro poles and foundations, also for the modification of the planking level quota.
At the finishing level, the structure was carefully taken care of by making stucco plastering, inserting decorations and entirely rebuilding plasterboard vaults, as well as valuable flooring using marquetry marble and parquet flooring for the seating area and the stage, overcoming architectural barriers with lifts and escalators.
